Terms of Service

By using any GOATs app (including Hollywood GOATs, Movie GOATs, TV GOATs, Music GOATs, Lit GOATs, Anime GOATs, Footy GOATs, Hoop GOATs, Touchdown GOATs, Baseball GOATs, Hockey GOATs, Tennis GOATs, Cricket GOATs, Racing GOATs, League GOATs, Union GOATs, and Aussie Rules GOATs), you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. The Service

GOATs apps are entertainment ranking applications that let you rank notable entries (players, films, albums, books, TV shows, anime, actors, directors, or racing drivers) using a head-to-head comparison system, with personalised rankings, global community rankings, and the ability to compare with other users.

2. User Accounts

No email or password is required. We use anonymous device-level authentication.
You choose a display name (max 20 characters) and avatar during setup.
Profanity and offensive names are filtered. We reserve the right to reset display names that violate community standards.

3. In-App Purchases

Each GOATs app offers a single non-consumable in-app purchase (USD $1.99) that removes all advertisements and unlocks VS mode (Connections and Global Rankings) permanently.
Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their respective refund policies.
You can restore purchases on a new device via Profile > Restore Purchases.

4. Advertisements

Free-tier users see banner advertisements and periodic full-screen interstitial advertisements.
Ads are served by Google AdMob. Non-personalised by default; personalised only with your explicit consent.
All ads are removed permanently upon purchase of the $1.99 in-app purchase.

5. User Content

User-generated content is limited to display names only.
There is no messaging, chat, or user-generated media functionality.
Rankings and votes are your personal data and can be deleted by deleting your profile.

6. Intellectual Property

All images in GOATs apps are AI-generated original works.
Player names, film titles, album names, book titles, TV show titles, anime titles, actor names, director names, and driver names are used under nominative fair use for identification purposes only.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any league, team, studio, network, publisher, label, governing body, or rights holder.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code.
Interfere with the app's operation or other users' experience.
Create accounts for the purpose of abuse, spam, or manipulation of rankings.

8. Disclaimer

The apps are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. Rankings are generated by user votes and do not represent any official or authoritative ranking.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FanSwype shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the apps.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
